In my favorite iPhone app (when connected), NetNewsWire, I clipped John Gruber’s recommendation for Wurdle. About three weeks ago, I finally spent $2 and added the app to my phone.
Excellent decision.
Wurdle is Boggle, but the finger-on-the-touchscreen gameplay works brilliantly. And you don’t have to be connected, which even in San Francisco isn’t guaranteed. Wurdle grabs those two-minute chunks of my life when I’m waiting for something (or someone) but the network, in whatever form, is absent.
So, Wurdle is my second favorite iPhone app.
But I still look forward to enhancements, two in particular.
Both requests are for after you finish play and you choose to see the Word List (all possible words).
First, I’d like to see the total number of possible words.
Second, I’d like to see the percentage of words I identified.
Just something simple, like “15 out of 45 (33%)”
That’s it. I hope the duo at Semi Secret Software are making good money with Wurdle.
